Welcome to WORX! This guide will help you set up your account and get your team running smoothly.

Quick Start Checklist

Follow these steps to get your location fully set up:

1. Create your account

Sign up with your email and verify your account.

2. Set up your location

Add your restaurant or venue details.

3. Add your team

Invite staff members to collaborate.

4. Create your first checklist

Set up daily tasks for your team.

Step 1: Setting Up Your Location

Your location is the foundation of WORX. All your data—staff, checklists, expenses, and feedback—is organized under your location.

    Go to Facilities

    Click "Facilities" in the top navigation bar.

    Add location details

    Enter your venue name, address, and contact information.

  3. 3

    Set your timezone

    This ensures checklists and schedules appear at the right times.

Step 2: Adding Your Team

Add your staff members so you can assign tasks and track who's responsible for what.

    Navigate to Operations → Staff

    Find the Staff section under the Operations menu.

    Click "Add Staff Member"

    Enter their name, role, and whether they're FOH or BOH.

  3. 3

    Add contact info (optional)

    Include phone or email if you want to contact them through the app.

Tip: Start by adding your shift leads or managers first, then add the rest of your team.

Step 3: Creating Your First Checklist

Checklists are the heart of WORX. They help ensure consistent operations across every shift.

    Go to Operations → Checklists

    Navigate to the Checklists page.

    Create a new checklist

    Click "New Checklist" and give it a name like "Morning Opening".

    Add your tasks

    List each task that needs to be completed. Be specific!

    Set it to recurring

    Make it repeat on the days your team should complete it.

Understanding the Dashboard

Your dashboard gives you a quick overview of what's happening at your location today.

Tasks

See how many FOH and BOH checklists need to be completed today.

Performance

Track progress on your manager goals and KPIs.

Expenses

View pending approvals and year-to-date spending.

Feedback

See recent guest reviews and sentiment trends.
